Are you ready to see what your future looks like? Join the New Mexico Summer Enrichment Internship Program (NM SEIP) being run by Education at Work (E@W) for Summer 2026. We connect New Mexico high school students with paid summer jobs in your community.

How It Works
The program lasts for 8 weeks (June and July). Your week is split into two parts:
Mandatory Orientation: Before the summer every student will attend (in-person or virtual) orientation to fill out tax and employment forms and receive important pre-employment training. Dates coming soon!
On the Job (14 Hours): You will work at a local business. You will help the team and learn how a professional business runs.
The Pro-Skills Team (6 Hours): You won’t be sitting in a classroom. Instead, you’ll work with an internship coordinator and other students. You will learn how to manage your money, build valuable employment skills, and plan your career.
Information for Parents and Caregivers
We make sure students are safe and supported.
Safe Workplaces: Every business is checked to make sure it is a great environment for a student.
Weekly Check-ins: Every student has an Internship Coordinator to help them if they have questions or problems.
No Cost to Families: There is no fee to join. This is a state-funded program built to help New Mexico students succeed.
